Howdy, I’m Ally Gordon!
Lady Bird Collective was born from a deep love for Lake LBJ and an entrepreneurial spirit. I’m Ally Gordon, the founder of this brand, and my story begins in Midland, Texas. Before I could even walk, I was spending summers at Lake LBJ, immersing myself in the beauty of the Texas Hill Country. Whether it was jet skiing, fishing, boating, enjoying a slice of pie at Blue Bonnet Cafe, or simply taking in the views; this area has always held a special place in my heart.
While earning my engineering degree at Texas A&M, I discovered an undeniable pull toward creativity and entrepreneurship. These passions became the foundation of Lady Bird Collective—a brand that blends my love for this lake, my creative ambitions, and my desire to give back to the community.
Dogs have always been a big part of my life—providing loyal companionship, the joy of fostering rescues, and endless comfort.
Dogs have always been a constant in my life—whether it be providing loyal companionship or fostering rescues. One special foster, Ladybird, became the namesake of this brand. Her story embodies the countless animals in need of love, care, and a second chance.
That’s why every purchase from Lady Bird Collective supports local animal shelters in the Hill Country. Together, we’re helping combat the overpopulation crisis in Texas and giving hope to animals awaiting their forever homes.
Lady Bird Collective is more than just apparel—it’s a way to celebrate the places and passions that shaped me, while making a meaningful difference, one tshirt at a time!
An Ode to LBJ
Lady Bird Collective is a brand that honors both the beauty of Lake LBJ and the special bond we share with animals. The name "Lady Bird" is inspired by a foster dog who touched my family’s heart, as well as by Lady Bird Johnson, the First Lady of the United States. Lady Bird Johnson’s vision for beautifying the American landscape deeply resonates with my love for the stunning Hill Country lakes and the great state of Texas. Through this brand, I aim to offer simplistic yet modern apparel that celebrates the towns surrounding these lakes, giving locals and tourists alike a way to wear their pride. A portion of the proceeds from each sale will also benefit local Hill Country animal shelters, supporting the care and well-being of animals in need.
